I've always thought it was a lie to instill the love of science in kids and belief in evolution. There is some actual evidence for evolution which holds pretty solid in the field of biology. Geology also offers from solid science on the age of the Earth. However, the first fossil was supposedly discovered in the 18th century and that is a red flag for me. These bones should be found everywhere. Is this too conspiratorial?
