No.
But it was an eye-opener for me.
Blacks in the South all (predominately all) had a similar experience in Bondage. They come in all flavors of colors, which translates into 'White Owners' (and other family members) having their way with Black Slaves.
Thomas Jefferson is probably a good example of this. TJ inherited his wife, Martha's, slaves when she died. One of which was 15 year old Sally Hemmings, (a half sister of Martha). He had 6 children by her and freed them when he died.
Ever heard of Quadroon Balls?
"
Plaçage was a recognized extralegal system in French and Spanish slave colonies of North America (including the Caribbean) by which ethnic European men entered into civil unions with no spam of African, Native American and mixed-race descent. The term comes from the French
placer meaning "to place with". The women were not legally recognized as wives but were known as
placées; their relationships were recognized among the no spam as
mariages de la main gauche or no spam . They became institutionalized with contracts or negotiations that settled property on the woman and her children and, in some cases, gave them freedom if they were enslaved. The system flourished throughout the no spam and no spam periods, reaching its zenith during the latter, between 1769 and 1803."
