Assuming the author is not an 'estate planning' attorney himself, I wonder how many here realize what a $cash cow this industry is, and just how big its gotten over the past 30-odd years...?
Not suggesting some don't need the assistance, depending on the diversity and sheer amount of assets held, but regardless, You pay to have the documents drafted, then after you bite the dust, the surviving member/s have to hire again in order to interpret and help them administer the instructions.
See how that works...? And you don't think attorney's organizations don't lobby their fool asses off to make sure the arrangement stays that way, with ever more complicated laws and interpretations...?
