Planning for Medicaid is a must for normal Americans, the elites with large trust funds let the lawyers hash that out.
It is still advisable to consult with a lawyer and if done right avoid probate.
We had set down with a lawyer trying to determine how to handle the parents assets. He was pushing splitting assets between spouses and for a small fee of $15k he could make that happen. We chose to liquidate every thing and turn to cash.
The families? They show their true colors when the time comes around. Some of the stories are over the top crazy!
I have always been not-so-great at reading people's faces, but my intuition and insight on people's TRUE NATURE is near unparalleled...and I can immediately sense when there is some kind of evil lurking behind people's smiles.
