let's examine Trump being a convicted felon, for example. Biden mentioned that no president had ever been a convicted felon. If, as biden suggests, Trump really is a rapist...then that is not merely an indictment on Trump, it is an indictment on the country.

that statement is obviously contradicted by the fact we elect rapists as president, according to his world view. and it is an obvious contradiction, and he made this contradiction expecting few people would notice. And he was right. And something is wrong with the people who voted for Trump, in bidens world view. That is a lot of people.
Meanwhile, if Trump is innocent and the country is just committing bad faith lawfare on him in an attempt to keep him out of office, that is also an indictment on this country. And an indictment on people who voted for biden, which is a lot of people.
No matter how you slice it, the country sucks. It isn't even about Trump vs biden.
But yes, the typical voter is extremely retarded which is why democracy / republicanism always ends up failing. It just ends up being a kleptocracy / oligarchy with a small # of people pulling the strings while everyone is bickering about meaningless subjects.
