Breaking even is better than a negative number. We fall into that smaller 25% category of retired people who don't touch their retirement accounts for 5 years which is where we are now. It will probably stay that way for the foreseeable future. Time is on our side.

You may get your short opportunity this year,
just not as big as you wish! (Hopefully)
I have the Nasdaq bottoming around 7600 - 8000 in 2029. 

And the kicker is the next bear market will last 3.5 - 4 years.
