Since the only responses I received consisted of stonewalling and diversions, here's a follow up:
"Retarded conjobs have talked about the need for so called 'free market' solutions to HC. So where, after 20 something years, are those vaunted FWEE MAUKET reforms?"

the whole financial structure of healthcare must change. we must rip apart the massive amounts this industry earns and return to cash pay for doctor services and catastrophic insurance policies available to all and then some form of government contribution for seniors, but not the current system of Medicare. We should eliminate Medicaid. most hospitals should go into chapter 11 bankruptcy so they can renegotiate all salaries and contracts. we should also eliminate the monopoly doctors have on the prescription pad - allow people to get their refills with no prescription, the pharmacy can have screener questions to make sure there will not be complications. you can get cheap care and drugs in Europe, why not the US? The healthcare scam is a result of higher education needing a reason for people to pay all that money to enter a profession that pays overly generously.
