well I am in an odd category because I retired young.
For most of my life I had health insurance which cost about $50/month.
That shot up to $1000/month shortly after the 'affordable care act'..so I just decided to dump it and take my chances.
and yeah a couple years ago I decided to check and see if the situation had improved. Nope..there literally is nothing for me
lol...$1000/month...back in my early 20s, I remember ACA quoting me for ~$200 and I thought that was highway robbery.
Have you tried a non-ACA marketplace like ehealthinsurance.com? Those should provide a massive discount compared to ACA.
