thats why your desire for white people to be allowed to keep their homeland sounded silly
You are partially correct.   The people who migrated to North America did so in slow numbers over time.  There was no sudden influx.  Also....   there were few others to compete with.   Other studies tell of more ancient travelers finding and going upstream in major rivers for instance.  But these were very few indeed.  It was not until later, about 1000 years ago, that the Native Americans had any substantial presence.

Yes.  When whites arrived they were determined to stay.   This part of our history we all know.   Yes.  There were many instances of natives being forcibly displaced.  All that is unfortunate but true.   Another thing that is true is that it is unfair in the extreme to blame the son for the sins of the father.

Now, regarding ancestral, racial homelands.   Is there any group of human beings that originated in North America?   The answer depends on how far back one wants to look.   They have been here for a long time, perhaps as much as 11,000 years.   But their genetics indicate Asian origins.   So how to anser the question of homeland without becoming emotional?   I think it is fair to suggest that, yes, this is their homeland so long as it is acknowledged that, further back in time, they really did come from another place.

We whites do not make the claim that North America is our homeland.   I mean when one uses that word to mean a place of ethnic origins.  We, our ancestors, originated, as far as we know, in the lands to the north and east of the Caspian Sea.  So distant are those times that it is not really possible for any White American to relate to them.

We will never resolve any of these conflicts.  And if we did, what then?   The world is as it is right now.  Wishing for or seeking vengeance for things that happened long ago is a fool's delight.

The last thought is this.   Are any of us interested in making the world a better place or do we simply want to turn back the clocks and make things the way they were in ancient times?   Do we inherit through or genes this kind of ignorance?

We are here for a short time.  How about we make the best of it and leave the squabbling to the low IQ folks who always seem to find their way to positions of authority in government?
