OK I understand you but I can see that since this method (a short cut it seems) is available it simply means that since we are on this forum it must mean that we have registered here and logged in. If you look at the bottom of the reply box on this forum, where it says "add image to post", that link takes you to the postimage.org upload page as well.
I see where you have the option to register and create an account on the link page, but it's just that... an option, not a requirement. It could be that because you are using a VPN that they are requiring it, who knows.
If you're not comfortable using the service, then by all means don't use it. I was just relaying information as to how to get an avatar up if you wanted one.
So... No offense to you, the end result is the same. We are opening the door for adverts and someone is getting money for it.
Nothing is free. I'd like to see the contract that this forum owner has with postimage. I'd bet my life money in return for persons to sent adverts to is involved.
