I was 24 when our son came along, and 27 for our daughter. I will say that having kids at a younger age usually does not work out. It leads to financial hardships and the parents simply not being ready. I was 37 when my son came about and I was ready in all phases.. physically, financially, and emotionally.
I sowed all my wild oats between the ages of 15 and 21ish, so by my mid 20's I was pretty much a nose to the grindstone homebody.
It's funny because on the day I turned 21 (legal to purchase alcohol) I stopped on the way home from work and bought six pack, drank two of them on the couch and was in bed by 9:30.
