I will say that having kids at a younger age usually does not work out. It leads to financial hardships and the parents simply not being ready. I was 37 when my son came about and I was ready in all phases.. physically, financially, and emotionally.
I was 24 when our son came along, and 27 for our daughter. Between the two kids we bought our first home and both had steady, good paying jobs the whole time.

I sowed all my wild oats between the ages of 15 and 21ish, so by my mid 20's I was pretty much a nose to the grindstone homebody.

It's funny because on the day I turned 21 (legal to purchase alcohol) I stopped on the way home from work and bought six pack, drank two of them on the couch and was in bed by 9:30.
