The only reason this is political, per say, is because of Baldwin's stance on firearms.

Here is a guy that's as anti gun as anti gun can get, making a movie where people are shooting each other with guns, and then he actually does shoot and kill somebody on set... with a REAL gun and a REAL bullet.

That's why it's political.

Personally I see is as a tragedy above all else. That young woman had the whole world ahead of her and was building a promising career, and it was gone in a flash. Baldwin and the armorer should pay a penalty for their neglect in causing her death, because their neglect is what caused her death... and that not political, from my point of view anyway.

Baldwin's political affiliation or opinions have little to nothing to do with that part.
