Good catch. Sure...a bunch of black racist cops...racist against other blacks. Nope. My take? Black cops are in the most dangerous of positions because they deal with the most dangerous and crime-ridden areas in the nation...those would be black areas. Although it is against their code of ethics, like in war, humans may become overwhelmed with their minute-to-minute vigilance and near-death experiences. I believe they snapped in unison. Too much pressure from too much **** piled upon them for too long, with no leadership support and not enough recovery time off the job.
From what I read they were all part of a special unit called SCORPION formed to deal with the worst of the worst on the street.
I'm sure their "training" involved a take no prisoners approach to law enforcement.
The unit has since been disbanded in the wake of this incident.
