He keeps wanting me to ask you if you think the semi auto version of the AR-15 and the select fire version of the AR-15 are different rifles.
I'm not sure why he is stuck on that since you and I both agree that they are indeed different rifles.
I guess he just wants confirmation that he was wrong or something. Who knows.
