I knew a guy years ago that bought him one of those Russian brides from a catalog. She was a hottie too, and a doctor in Mother Russia. Cost him about $60k to get her here, and this was back in the early 90's.
Of course she couldn't practice medicine here because she didn't hold any U.S. certifications, so she went to work at the register in her "husband's" little convenience store out in the sticks.
The marriage lasted long enough for her to become a citizen, and she was gone like a fart in the wind.
