Yes, there is inflation. I just like for folks to be straight up and honest so that precludes you. I did not state that there was no inflation... pretty easy, huh?
My guess is that you have little to no idea how the number is formulated and so like 99.9% of internet forum posters.. you take shots at it and claim that someone is "fudging the numbers". And then when asked how.. you will give a bunch of unrelated rhetoric and offer no exact details as to how they supposedly are doctoring this number.
I know that 9% last year didn't just vanish on Jan 1.2023.
I know the "published" rate is 3.2%. That means inflation is STILL RISING, whether they include the majority of everyday items or not.
I know the consumer index is still going up! Wonder why.
So, that means from 2021 to 2022 things cost (for simplicity)9% more.
The RATE of inflation has dropped to 3.2%, so items cost 3.2% more than 2022.
9% in 2022 and another 3.2% in 2023...........where does that leave us?
It's certainly not 3.2% inflation since Biden took office.
I'm just dealing in THEIR numbers and am not even trying to argue their formula for it. Although we all know common items that everybody uses are not included.
So, you can sit on your high horse and criticize others, but the bare facts speak for themselves.; to all but the current admins defenders.
