Sure, it was an insanely arrogant and naive idea to begin with. If we want to look at a model of what multiculturalism looks like - the world is multicultural.. and it's full of war, oppression, torture, inflicted suffering, confrontation etc, all based on the idea of cultural supremacy (real or imagined) or even trivial cultural differences. I'll remind you immigrants did not import their cultures with them back in the day, they assimilated into the American way of life because they admired and respected it. Can you say that about the current crop of thugs invading the country?
Any way you look at it diversity weakens existing society as a whole, it seems to magnify our faults and bury the good things about different cultures until one group wants to do away with the other.
