Putin was a great fan of having the Russian Orthodox Church
make the Tsar and his entire family, SAINTS.
Nicholas was a brutal and incompetent fool that declared war on Germany over the assassination of the Austrian Archduke. WWI was a disaster for Russia, and they lost miserably.
There is no way anyone could consider the Tsar a saint.
