"Fake News" = Thought-Terminating Cliché. TTCs, via repetition, are implanted in to the minds of the followers of a demagogue (such as Trump) in order to curb critical thinking and kill dissent. Demagogues do not like their members to think, let alone dissent, so, via repetition, they inculcate thought-terminating clichés into the minds of followers so that when they are challenged, they just dish them up in an effort to kill dissent. This helps forward the demagogue's right wing agenda. Very typical of fascists and Fascists.
