Here’s the issue I’ve had all my life with affirmative action.
Let’s say a child dreams of being a doctor.
The best med school in the world is John’s Hopkins.
No matter what his or her race is, to get into John’s Hopkins means 4.0+ test scores and genius level IQ.
It’s not right to put black kids in and eliminate another kid, with higher scores.
But that also applies to white kids. If an Asian kid scores higher, shouldn’t he be picked first?
