The pop. must want it.......naturally.
Not.....forced down our throats by gov. fiat.
Gov. should not be involved.
Capitalism will respond to pop. desires.....naturally.....to make money.
Example--
1. I own an electric bike. It is like a golf-cart. I love it. I use it on short trips.
2. I park my P/U & cut my gas milage in half. 20mi. range....20mph.
3. All voluntary. No gov. involved.
4. Solar & EV are........."assistants".......not "replacements".
Here, $650.00 on Ebay. (+tax = $700.00).

Even as a child, I can remember little gasoline motors for sake to motorize a bike. There have been mopeds for sale, all my life.
Not only did scientists develop really good batteries to power a practical and affordable electric bike, other engineers made tooling to manufacture a whole lot of them.
Before long there will be electric Harleys.
This is why I’ve never supported affirmative action, as it was practiced.
Somebody will perfect nuclear fusion to power all the electric cars and trucks and bikes.
The only thing that matters to science is results.
