My Republican friends ask me if I’m such an ardent Democrat how can I still love Ronald Reagan

The people that broke the law in Iran Contra were selling arms to Iran so they could fight Sadam Hussein and took the profits to fund Contras fighting Marxists in El Salvador.
It was illegal, but it was political, and advancing American interests
Today it seems like half the Republicans support Russia and Putin, and the other half don’t have the balls to call them wrong.
