True transgendered persons are less than one per cent of all populations and the MAGA crowd doesn’t care if little girls want to use the boy’s rest room.
And I have zero qualms about reserving girls sports for girls born girls.
I would not allow sex reassignment surgery (except for blatantly obvious cases like the “lady” I attended church with) until at least age 25.
And I’d as soon have drag queens have story hour with children as I would whores from the local brothel or drunks from the local beer joint. Children need protected from such things. Fire a few “woke” teachers and the rest will fall in line.
When I was a child the threat to America was radical left wing permissiveness. It still is a threat, although dwarfed by tens of millions of right wing reactionaries that would eliminate all boundaries of church and state, and plunge us into a century or more of the darkness of the radical right if only they could.
They won’t send their kids to school. They won’t get vaccinated. They fall prey to every paranoid fantasy they see on the internet or conservative media.
Unless the decent people win, then any minority group will face a loss of civil rights unprecedented in our history.
