There are no Republicans or Democrats in a naval warship, only Americans.
In our little church in Missouri, as a young boy I would toll the bell for our dead deacons who perished on station on the USS Arizona, USS Thresher, and USS Scorpion.
Not that it matters, but all those Christian Church boys were Republicans.
I was too, until I couldn’t stand it anymore.
