God in heaven, am I glad my parents took me not just to church but the Flemington Fox Hunt.
I watched Daddy dance with Mama, to the fiddle playing of Earl Ball.
I talked with those old men about World War One, outside on the park benches.
Republicans used to do that sixty years ago.
