The town I grew up in was pretty much like all other little Ozarks towns of sixty some years ago.
There were no factory workers at all, because there were no factories.
It was ideal dairy country. Many of the settlers were thrifty, pious, hard working Scots.
Scots usually are teetotalers. Water is free.
So in every town we’re two classes of people, the ones that walked right into the beer joint in front of God and everybody and didn’t care if the townspeople thought they were drunks,,,,
And the rest of us.
Prostitution is legal in Nevada.
But can you imagine somebody so low down, base, and immoral they’d brag they met their wife in a brothel?
Or a beer joint?
