Also, I'm not saying this woman in Ohio "got what she deserved" either... only that her own actions played a role in what happened more so than the cop's bad judgement.
This "poor innocent pedestrian" narrative drives me nuts. You can't walk out in front of a bus, and then cry when the damn thing hits you.
"She didn't deserve to die for shoplifting" is a ridiculous statement, because she didn't die for shoplifting. She got dead because she was an idiot that tried to run over a cop during the commission of a crime.
I say the same about Babbit. If she hadn't been in the Capitol or tried to climb through that window that day, she would still be alive. She played a stupid game and won a stupid prize too.
And among them were Proud Boys.
And not the worst Proud Boy would have gunned down that black girl because her car rolled forward like we see in the body cam. The Proud Boy would have just stepped aside.
That officer snapped.
They would not have killed their sister for that.
Or if they weren’t depraved, anyone else’s sister of any color.
