Broken down by political party, 84% of Democrats favored a ban, compared to 36% of Republicans.
More than half of poll respondents said they're worried about becoming a victim of gun violence.

About a third of Republicans are sick and tired of 18 year old kids buying a military weapon and shooting up the neighborhood or a school, church or mall, and then hearing some bull **** about Lexington and Concord and the blood of hallowed patriots.
Those patriots died so we could rule ourselves.
