Sum, it may have been over four hundred years since my ancestors wore tartan plaid kilts in the Scottish Highlands. Still yet, my knees will never bend to kneel.
But it’s only been a hundred and fifty since every man from 13 to 68 years of age in my family joined the United States Cavalry,,,,,,,down to a man. All cavalry. I decorate their graves, every chance I get.
And some of of our great grandmothers, too, but not in uniform. They all sleep beside them yet.
