what this story proves is that children, and yes, a 6th grader is still a child, can be manipulated into thinking anything, like the schools pushing "diversity and inclusion" forcing people into acceptance of an ever raising bar of behavior...
I look no further than the Hitler youth to be reminded of how venerable children can be...

This morning I’m tickled remembering as a child reading this gem penned by Paul, I was out on the sun porch reading, and took this to Mama in the kitchen to ask her what it meant:

25 “Now concerning virgins: I have no commandment from the Lord; yet I give judgment as one whom the Lord in His mercy has made trustworthy. 26I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress – that it is good for a man to remain as he is:
27Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? Do not seek a wife. 28But even if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you.”

Mama was drinking a glass of tea and she suddenly started laughing so hard she spit tea all over and I helped her clean it up.
And she composed herself and said your Daddy should know the answer to this, go take him a glass of tea to the milk barn and ask Daddy.
And when I got to the milk barn, I said Mama said to give you this glass of sweet tea and explain what Paul meant saying he had no commandment for virgins.
Daddy started laughing so hard I thought he might drop the milk container full of milk but he poured it in the bulk tank and he said I think you need to go back to Mama and have her call Grandma and ask her.
Which is how one of Ma Bruce’s most famous Ma and Pa stories of all time got in The Index.
