The Romans used Celtic Christians as their personal bodyguards, and even today by tradition a young officer raised up in a Christian Church holds the nuclear launch codes.
During the American Civil War my ancestors likely killed hundreds of Southern soldiers at the Battle of Nashville when they destroyed Hood’s army as a fighting force.
But Christ was a pacifist, against war, against killing, and for mercy, and forgiveness.
Did Christ forgive them, killing all those Confederates?
