When I was thirteen the fifteen year old preacher’s daughter started smiling at me when I served her communion and Cheryl had assets and attributes girls my age did not.
And I asked Mama why Cheryl was always smiling at me lately and she said go ask your Daddy in the milk barn.
I asked Daddy and he said, never chase a girl.
