Today at Eagle Pass Texas ten thousand asylum seekers mostly from Venezuela and Nicaragua are turning themselves in to the federal government.

This is because of US SANCTIONS on Venezuela and Nicaragua, triggering economic problems.

So until we lift sanctions there are about ten thousand asylum seekers a day at Eagle Pass.

What we did with Cuba is make all of them citizens.

Is that a good solution?
