But I'm certainly not going to accuse the man - or stand by for such - of having murdered lefty frizzell's influence on the genre.
And to be fair to Brooks he finished off a Lefty type honky tonk sound that about 80% of the true Harlan Howard and Bill Anderson written classics spanned 1959-1964.
The Beatles likely did more Lefty killing than Garth.
My music is raw, repetitive and ragged.
It was intended for a drunk to listen to on a juke box.
