Today I dropped in a local Democratic meeting and at age 65 I was the second youngest person in a crowded room.
What evil George Soros financed diabolical scheme were they plotting?
Voter registration and turnout for November 2024.
The young lady half my age was their leader.
Each county has a list of registered voters, and Google and other online search engines sell lists of prospective customers with details like age, income, educational levels and even church affiliation. The Democrats have a computer program (VANS) that can identify with about 97% accuracy a prospective Democrat and those old volunteers call them and make sure they register and then vote.
The Republican version is at least ten or fifteen years behind ours, and Republicans don’t volunteer for squat , and every single thing the Republicans advocate is something either evil, wicked, mean, bad, or immoral.
Seriously, how many people will line up to volunteer to chase Mexicans, outlaw abortions, cut taxes on the rich, dismantle labor and environmental laws, cut food stamps and promote big business?
Where the GOP lost its way, is that it lost its moral compass. They do bad stuff. They advocate for evil.
Their God, is Donald Trump and all the wickedness he represents.
My mind goes back to 1980, when as a young Republican Reagan talked all the time, about America being the shining city on the hill and the last, best hope for mankind.
That was a very, long time ago.
