Of course this means that God is therefore not omnipresent.
This was a question debated frequently.
It was decided that  despite God not choosing to visit Hell, he was still omnipresent.
One more of  what is known as a "Mystery of the Faith".

My Latin prof and thesis advisor was a defrocked Jesuit.
He loved to discuss theological issues.
The theme I gleaned from the early church fathers was that heaven and hell are the same - the fire that will burn those without love will cause those with love to shine.  

I was never a fan of the hyper-rationalization of the west.
