Anecdotally, I will say that, as a nurse anesthetist for more than 30 years, I worked with dozens of non-Jews who suffered from diseases such as Tay-Sachs and Canavan disease. I was privy to their medical histories because being so informed was a part of my job. Finally, I know that Nazis need to believe Jews to be a "race" onto themselves to somehow make their being genocided more "acceptable," but it isn't the case.
Per Cannonpointer's query, "Is this Jewish source lying about itself?" I have no idea the motivation, so I cannot speculate whether the source is knowingly lying. However, I will say that many Zionists, including many Christian Zionists, put forth the proposition that Jews are a "race" of people to justify the theft of land belonging to Palestinians. But I digress.
