He was not driving. His wife was driving. He still had his license, but only to placate him. He had not driven in years.
The truly sad part is that a good detox would likely end his dementia. The reason it is mostly old people who get dementia is that they've lived long enough to accumulate the heavy metals and other toxins which cause the condition. The reason a few get "early onset" is that they've been exposed to more toxins than most.
I've seen dementia turn around with proper chelation therapy. And I don't mean improve. I mean disappear.
