This eludes those trapped in tautologies. But it makes deep sense. Everything is a tribal accomplishment, in the end. Doesn't mean we do not need a patent office, and respect for the inventors who FORMALIZE societies' inventions. But societies produce inventors to do their necessary work, and if one fails another will come - and that other didn't build that, either.
