The Qatar royal family is worth 335 billion, give or take. The QIA - Qatar's sovereign wealth fund - is worth 550 billion. That seems to be the extent of what could conceivably be drawn from to honor a 1.2 trillion dollar pledge.
I don't think that math will math - even if logic is excluded from the guest list. There's just not a trillion to throw around inside of 885 billion, the majority of which is reliably not liquid and reliably tied up in assets that cannot be abandoned.
