Reciprical tariffs are *** play for dim wits. Tariffs should be PROTECTIONIST, dictated by the national interests of the tariffing nation.

REIPROCAL tariffs are tit for tat - both ignoring the necessity of the tariffing nation, and engaging in childish politics. Look at Japan. They tariff the **** out of food. They inhabit a rocky island where growing food is expensive. If they allow food to come in without heavy tariffs, their farmers will never compete. They will lose their agricultural base - and with it their sovereignty. Putting tit for tat tariffs on Japan would be a feel-good operation - which is *** play. But we did it. We tariffed their cars for years. When we removed those tit for tat tariffs, within a couple of years a digit was added to the odometers of American cars. American made cars had to up their game in response to excellent Japanese competition. The people gained mightily.

Tariffs should be designed for one thing: to protect our national interests. Not revenge, not punishment, not for anything but protecting our national interests. A good example is tariffs on chinee steel, because 

1. They dump steel
2. They pay coolie wages with which American steel cannot compete
3. If we can't produce our own steel, we will be weak militarily

Not indignant, Sparky. Skeptical. I see a combattive moron who can never admit error. Such folk are lousy in business. Successful business people ADMIT errors quickly and PROFIT from them.

You were willing to die on the hill that my Prius was an EV. You could not admit error. You insisted that EVERY HYBRID CAR is an EV, even though the entire world knows that a hybrid and an EV are different animals.

While both use electric motors to save fuel, they differ fundamentally in how they are powered and operated.

That level of immature intransigence - basically the emotional equivalent of a foot-stomping five year old, - makes it difficult to humor the claim you made about being successful in business.

So, no, you foot stomping, chin jutting, wee little five year old fit thrower. I do NOT believe it at all likely for one such as you to have been successful in business, competing with emotional adults.

That is not what I said. The murders which ended with death warrants (Wanted Dead or Alive) by the British Crown happened when the zionists took over the land then known as the Palestine Mandate, which was controlled by the British.

But I can still give you what you asked for. Lebanon in 1978. Operation Litani killed over a thousand civilians and displaced more than 100 thousand, putting them into dire poverty and shortening their lives. It destroyed entire neighborhoods and traumatized a nation.
