As someone who is hardly a purporter of Western propaganda, let me say the one reliable way to verify what is true or not is to see something for yourself (which in this case requires traveling to Russia / Ukraine)

There have been claims of abnormally high inflation in Russia due to the war effort. While that is hardly equivalent to economic collapse, those claims are believable since wars tend to be inflationary (Thank The Orange J3wlius)

I don’t see 1 as likely and 3 is moderately unlikely (although I wouldn’t be surprised if more and more of the Russian population grows tired / sick of it).

As one who reads more of Coupkraine's propaganda than Russia's, I can tell you this much. The Russians DO tire of the war and of Putin's handling of it. 

They want him to take the **** gloves off.

Putin is always WAAAY down the road from most of those around him. He is not only fighting the special military operation (all of NATO, through their beard). He is also building the peace. And he is TRYING to leave Coupkraine a country. A land-locked rump state, to be sure - but a country. 

As to the attacks on their economy, work-a-day Russians actually understand that their pain is due to the west, and that at any time Russia can suck the west's dick and have things a **** of a lot easier. They are also aware of fifth columnists in their ranks - and they like **** them up when they find them. Russians are down with the war - they just want it fought harder. And they CHOOSE the economic woes that the western sanctions and the war against NATO have caused. They choose those woes over wearing panties - the American way.
