Yes, I do lock up cleaning products, matches etc. I watch my 2 year old Grandson a few days a week. Anything dangerous is either locked up or kept out of his reach. And I sure as hell would not leave a gun lying around when he's here. Yeah, If I had a toddler, that would be different. But for your run of the mill, garden variety kid, no. But it does make me say, When a kid is about 5-6 it is time to start teaching gun safety with both hand guns and rifles. Boy Scouts should be doing this.
