OMG, that's heartbreaking.
I follow a lot of accounts on Twitter that people have set up for their dogs because the doggy pics make me happy, but mixed in with the happy pics are the really sad ones of people talking about their dogs being sick or dying.
Just saw this one.

Those are the ones that really break my heart.
I have a picture I took of Capone a few days before I helped him cross. He is laying in his favorite spot looking at the lake. He was so withered and grey. Could barely get up to go outside so he was wearing a diaper. I can't bear to look at those pictures yet.
That dog was with my 24/7. He even went into all my therapy appointments with me.
We KNEW each other so well. All we needed was a look.
It hurt to lose him more than any human I have ever lost.
