I felt a need to comment on this general nonsense...common among leftist media...especially after getting banned from a pg thread for scoffing at it...and I'm not sure the poster understood my point.
it's supposed to be a big deal that Trump has 'private business' in Saudi arabia. This is supposed to be some co fiction of interest.
If you are talking about me, you were not banned from my Flying Monkeys thread.
The shadow thread in the Peanut Gallery no longer exists.
It was deleted in the purge due to inactivity for over a year.
So I can no longer ban anyone from that thread.
If you don't comprehend why it's a conflict of interest for someone to control foreign policy while making money for his private business from foreign countries, then I can't make you understand that.
Trump has all kinds of businesses in foreign countries and he's continuing to do business with Saudi Arabia while running for POTUS again.
Jimmy Carter had one lousy peanut farm and he sold it after he was elected to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest.
But I'm sure you have a different standard for Democrats.
No other president that I can think of owned and/or ran a private business while in office, especially one that did business with foreign nations.
