Why did he hand over that footage to someone whose own text messages show him to be a liar who tried to have a FOX News reporter fired because she had the audacity to fact check one of 45's Tweets?
No doubt that Tuckem's people are slicing and dicing that footage right now to try and invent some kind of a wacky conspiracy theory about that day.
The gaslighting won't work.
We all saw what we saw on January 6th, 2021.
That footage is public property. EVERYONE has a right to it in a free society where government is servant to the people - not masters to say what we are allowed to see of our OWN PUBLIC RECORDS.
That footage should never have been given over to anybody without clearing it with the Capitol police first, like the Jan. 6th Select Committee did.
It's a security issue.
The footage will show future insurrectionists the escape routes that members of Congress and the Vice President used to secure their safety and it will show where there are gaps in surveillance cameras.
It's very obvious that Tucker Carlson has an agenda.
He produced a
documentary that suggests that the insurrection was a ‘false flag’ operation carried out by violent leftist antifa groups, the FBI and other national security divisions.
His
documentary was so off the rails and divorced from reality that he was publicly criticized by his own colleagues and at least two Fox News contributors resigned in protest.
Even the network attempted to distance itself from the project, airing it only on their streaming platform.
Tucker described what happened on 1\6 as “an unforgettably minor outbreak by recent standards” and a mere act of “vandalism.”
He can slice and dice that surveillance footage and twist himself into a pretzel.
It won't help.
We all know what we saw on that day.
There was nothing 'minor' about it, and it sure as hell was not a 'mere act of vandalism.'
Tucker Carlson’s ‘Patriot Purge’ film on Jan. 6 is full of falsehoods, conspiracy theories.
