One of these women was denied an abortion after her water broke at 19 weeks — too early for the fetus to survive.
Fearing the prospect of severe infection, she had to fly to Colorado for a termination.
And the thing to remember is, "fly to Colorado" is not an option for literally millions of poor texans. If this had happened to a woman of a different socio-economic demo, SHE WOULD HAVE DIED.
The courts definitely should - and almost certainly will - do the heavy lifting on this one. Populism will always need a tempering force - our republic is designed to provide it.
Not trying to mitigate the **** up - just celebrating (and hoping) that it will likely get fixed
WOW!
I'm gobsmacked.
Can you please enlighten some of the neanderthals on this forum who believe that a woman should have to die along with her nonviable or already dead fetus?
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't feel that way if it was their woman whose health or life was at risk.
Or maybe they would.
Who am I kidding?
No woman in her right mind would ever agree to procreate with any of these jerks.
