We have deer and turkey right off our back porch. My wife would never let me shoot one on our property, though. Somehow, as long as I go kill one in a WMA from a tree stand, it's not like killing the "family deer".
Honestly, I can tell there aren't enough folks hunting deer anymore. Their populations seem out of control to me.
