Some countries IN nato - like Germany, back when it had an economy - were buying Russian oil. Now they pay three times as much for energy from the US.
The US played Europe like a fiddle and made it a captive customer at thrice the price. Their economies are ****. Now we're bullying them into buying more toys from the MIC.
The only country in NATO still getting meaningless (to Russia) amount of Russian energy is Hungary.
