Isn't it funny that in 2005 Congress enacted a law, under heavy lobbying from the NRA and the gun industry, that gives gun manufacturers and dealers broad immunity from being sued? Which other industry enjoys such an immunity? Nothing unusual about it at all. It is appropriate under the Commerce Clause that manufacturers be protected from lawsuit harassment from politically corrupt politicians and trial lawyers. Who were intending to sue the gun industry for crimes committed by individuals, for which the industry had no culpability whatsoever. The WMD fairy tale went out the window, didn't it? "Fairy tale?" Obama's top intelligence adviser has said Syria holds WMDs made in Iraq. Why does Obama have someone who believes "fairy tales" in such an important position? Go ahead, tell your usual blatant lies. 8/26/02-Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction....Dick Cheney 9/12/02-Right now, Iraq is expanding and improving facilities that were used for the production of biological weapons....George W. Bush 1/09/03-We know for a fact that there are weapons there......Ari Fleischer Gosh, why aren't you quoting Clinton, Hillary Clinton and all the top Democrats who said similar? Because you're a deceitful partisan hack. 1/28/03-In State of the Union, Bush says "the 16 words": "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." Bush adds Saddam has "tried to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production" and has "mobile biological weapons labs." The British report was true, moonbat. And it was the French who insisted that the aluminum tubes were meant for centrifuges. There was a heated debate about that, with US intelligence officials on both sides. How typically dishonest of you that you'd claim that Bush lied.
